The NFL draft 2025 features 257 picks and a lot of potential fantasy impacts. We’ll break down all the key picks, plus provide a team-by-team look at their best fits and busts.
The first few rounds of the draft typically offer a solid mix of running backs and wide receivers with some depth in the position. The goal in Round 1 should be to secure a high-end running back or wide receiver with a good chance of becoming a starter early on. If that player isn’t available, then it’s a great time to consider adding another strong backup.
After the top running backs go, it’s time to consider some late-round options with a chance to become an impact starter. Whether that’s Ja’Marr Chase, or someone like Bijan Robinson or Tyler Warren, there is value to be found in this group.
The final round often offers an intriguing blend of pass rushers, wide receivers and tight ends. JT Tuimoloau will add needed pass-rush help to the Cincinnati Bengals, whose Trey Hendrickson led the league in sacks last season but isn’t a lock to return for 2024. He’s an excellent fit for the team given his frame, physicality (including against the run) and production in college. The team’s other edge rushers, including Darius Slay and Jamari Lattimore, need to improve if the Bengals are going to make a serious playoff push. That should open up some opportunities for Tuimoloau, who could play a big role in the offense.
